Pink-delicious

Emma looked at her feet tonight before bed. "Mom my feet are kind of pink" I said, "Yes and your cheeks are pink too". "I want to look in your mirror and see me pink." She went into the bathroom and looked. Very excitedly she came back out and said "I am turning pink Mom! Girls like to look pink. Like pink-delicious was pink."

She has a book my mom, her Grammie gave her called "Pinkalicious". It is one of her favorite books and in it the girl wears only pink clothes and eats so many pink foods her whole body turns pink. That is not the end but I don't want to spoil it for any blog readers that might be interested. I told Emma at dinner that the red peppers were kind of pink and I think that helped remind her of the story and made her think about turning pink. Funny girl. She looks at books every night in her bed before falling asleep.
