Just a few goings on . . .

A week and a half ago Emma and I went to "Old McDonald's" (as she calls it) to play with friends. Dale knew we were going while he was in school. He came to me that morning and handed me a dollar (his money!) saying "This is for you and Emma so you can by ice cream when you go to McDonalds." Sweet boy.
He can put together his little lego sets by himself most of the time.

My baby is 5 months old. This isn't the photograph I took March 1st (which is also cute) but I love his smile in this one and had to share.

William loves broccoli! He always wants our food and I decided to give him a piece to chew on to see what he did with it. He gnawed at it and really seemed to enjoy the flavor. He was not too happy when I took away the stem.

This is the new dress I made for Emma. It took me a long time to decide on the fabrics to use for the different parts of it. I really love how it came together though so the effort was worth it. She loves it too! It should fit for a long time as it has a lot of growing room built into the pattern and I made a size 5/6.

Here is the back with the different ruffles. She calls it her princess dress. I really love how the patterns in the book that this one comes from are fairly basic but they include photos and ideas on how to embellish to customize the clothing and really make each piece special.

Now I have to work on Emma's birthday present, some baby presents, and then William and Dale have some shorts on the list for summer.
